This quote reminds me of an amazing night in Vernazza on the Cinque Terra in Italy.  There was a full moon and my room overlooked the sea. It was glorious. At the end of the night after a fantastic dinner, I sat on my balcony and stared transfixed at a massive moon reflecting on the sea in front of me. Magic!

When I told a close friend back in 2003 that I was going travel for several months, she asked me ‘what are you running away from?’ I told her I wasn’t running away from anything. I wasn’t running away from life, I was wanting to live it!
