Motivational songs to get you moving or at least singing along.

It’s a rainy Friday here in Brisbane.  One of many rainy days recently.

With this in mind, I thought it was time for another motivational songs post to get us tapping our feet, singing or dancing down the hallway.

What defines a motivational song?

You may feel energized, uplifted or determined to try something bold and new, to push past old boundaries. Songs that motivate us can help us through a rough patch or remind us to keep going with our heads held high. Or they simply might make us smile and reflect.

So regardless of whether it’s raining, snowing or the sun is shining brightly outside your window, I hope you enjoy my latest picks.

Here goes.

KT Tunstall – Suddenly I See

I love the upbeat vibe of this song. It ones of those songs I just have to sing along to.

Vonda Shepard – Searchin’  My Soul

Yes, I admit I was an Ally McBeal fan back in the day when the show first came out.  Regardless of that, I enjoy the words in this song.  After all whose soul doesn’t need a little searching?

Cast of Sister Act 2 – Ain’t No Mountain High Enough

I know I’m showing my age again here! This song has been recorded many times by various artists, but I particularly love this version from the closing credits of the movie.  This song always makes me want to get up and dance around the room.

Delta Goodrem – Born to Try

We are all born to try (and succeed!)

Flo Rida – Good Feeling

I have to admit I’m not a huge rap fan but this song has just the right blend of rap and high energy.

David Guetta featuring Kelly Rowland – When Love Takes Over

Admittedly this song is more about love and relationships, but this dance song has such infectious enthusiasm I couldn’t resist it. Some days we need a shot of enthusiasm to get us started or keep ourselves going.

Bon Jovi – It’s My Life

It’s your life, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

That wraps up another motivational songs post.  Thanks for listening to my rather eclectic range of music tastes!

I hope you enjoyed the post. If so, please share via social media.
