Products I Recommend

This page is dedicated to products I use and love. I will only recommend products if I have used them myself.

Hostgator

Hostgator is the web host I use for this blog. My favourite part of Hostgator is the Live Chat service. It’s an incredibly convenient way of getting a problem fixed quickly.  Each of the technicians I have spoken to have been helpful, supportive and professional.

My blog crashed for the first time in June 2011.  Anyone that has a blog, will know your first crash or any crash for that matter can be traumatic. The thought of all of your hard work disappearing is enough to make you burst into tears.  Hostgator were quick to get my site up and running again.

Thesis

Thesis Theme for WordPress: Options Galore and a Helpful Support Community

I have to admit, it wasn’t love at first sight with Thesis.

Though I loved the clean design and easy to use control panels, I was completely stuck when it came to making any other modifications, outside of the site and design options.  In a nutshell, I knew nothing about code.  Less than nothing, if that is even possible!

Once I discovered the DIY Thesis Theme User’s Guide and the Thesis Theme blog, which together provide excellent documentation, video tutorials and code that you can copy and paste straight into your CSS and PHP files, I started to fall a little in love.

AWeber

I enjoy using AWeber. The mind-boggling part is I haven’t even began to use it to its full capacity (not even close would be my guess) so I am looking forward to diving deeper into what this product can really do!

When I had a problem with one of my monthly newsletters, the customer service people were quick to help and went above and beyond to get me back on track.
